Troop 51 is concerned about safety with regard to sharing information on the Internet. We have a few rules that guide us in our development of web content. Those rules are:
- Scouts under the age of 18 will not be identified in any pictures. That means no names of any kind. If their uniform shows their name, it must be obscured before it can be posted on the site.
- Scouts under the age of 18 will only be identified on the site using their first names. In the event there are two or more Scouts with the same first name, the first letter of their last name may be used to distinguish between them.
- No home addresses will be published. Phone numbers for adults/leaders may be published, but only as part of a newsletter or other announcement. There will be no "roster" or "phone list" of any kind.
- Adults will maintain the content on the troop website, ensuring the content is appropriate and within these rules.
- There will be no message board or blog where comments can be posted.
If you have content you would like to publish on this website, please contact the webmaster for assistance.
