We'll use this page to give our Scoutmaster a chance to "have a word" with all of us.
Current Message:
We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give. This truth is expressed well in the Scout Slogan; Do a good turn daily.
At the Court of Honor [Nov 27, 2007] I charged every Scout and everyone to do the following two items:
Every day before you eat your dinner, think back and determine if you have done a good turn today. If not see if you can squeeze one in before bedtime. It could be as simple as helping with some housework, helping a sibling with some homework, helping mom with that meal or what about helping clean up after that meal.
Also every day before you eat your dinner, think back and determine if you have thanked anyone for something they have done. If not, see if you can squeeze a “thank you” in before bedtime. It could be as simple as thanking someone for helping with housework, or helping a sibling with homework or thanking mom for that meal.
And Remember “Every day when you wake up, thank God that you have something to do that day whether you like it or not.”

"Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find it out." ~Frank A. Clark~
"Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors and let every year find you a better man". ~Benjamin Franklin~ - Lee's first Scoutmaster's Corner was a document about the Pledge of Allegiance. This document was the result of many hours of research and serious thought. Let's use this document as a reason to learn more about our own country's traditions and values.
